Professional Bio
Krista Snelling serves as chairman and chief executive officer of West Coast Community Bank (WCCB), bringing nearly 30 years of leadership experience in banking and finance. She joined WCCB in 2021 as president and CEO and became chairman in 2025. Snelling serves on the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco’s Home Office Board of Directors and is immediate past chair of the California Bankers Association, where she continues to serve on its board of directors.
Snelling is frequently recognized for leadership excellence. She is a recipient of American Banker’s 2023 Most Powerful Women in Banking Team award and received a place on its 2023 and 2024 Most Powerful Women in Banking Watch lists. She also was named a Silicon Valley Business Journal 2022 Women of Influence and earned a place on its 2023, 2024 and 2025 Power 100 lists. She regularly contributes to Bank Director Magazine articles and events, serves as a guest on banking, leadership and technology podcasts and participates on industry panels.
Prior to joining WCCB, Snelling held chief operating officer and chief financial officer roles at Five Star Bank and was chief financial officer at Inspire Communities. She holds a bachelor’s degree in mathematics and economics from the University of the Pacific and a master’s degree in economics from the University of California, Davis, and is a California Certified Public Accountant (inactive).
