Our Presenter: Cody Harrell Cody Harrell serves as the Chief Sourcing Practice Officer at SRM, a leading advisory firm with specialized expertise in sourcing, strategy, payments, and technology throughout North America and Europe. In his role, Harrell leads initiatives to align business strategies with strategic sourcing solutions tailored for financial institutions. He brings over a decade of deep experience to this position, having directly supported more than 500 financial institutions. Harrell's primary focus is on the advancement and execution of strategic sourcing strategies. This role involves comprehensive evaluations of vendor capabilities, as well as their products and services, and conducting contractual negotiations that emphasize key aspects such as economics, business terms, and service levels.
His expertise spans several areas, including EFT networks, card processing, core processing, technology, and digital banking. Before joining SRM, Harrell practiced law in Mississippi and provided legal services to various companies and entrepreneurial ventures. His areas of practice included contracts, real estate, business formation and structure, commercial transactions, and general business operations support. Cody Harrell holds a Juris Doctorate of Law (JD) and a Bachelor of Accountancy, both from the University of Mississippi.
